We stayed at the Sandy Cove Hotel in Berrynarbor, North Devon for the annual 41 Club Weekend Away. We met for lunch on the way at The Station House Inn.
Preparing for a walk from Combe Martin, led by Alan.
Views from the top were stunning! It was worth the climb.
Paul thinks he knows a shortcut!
Nigel waiting for a good shot!
Back in time for the rugby....England v Wales. At least Mary was smiling at the end of the game!
All dressed up for dinner.
Pre-dinner drinks.
Lilian has a lesson on viewing photos on an iPad.
Walk number two....a circular walk from Fremington Quay.
A lovely flat walk, but we hadn't anticipated the heavy rain the night before!
Sue's wet, muddy boots!
Lunch at Fremington Quay.
It was a beautiful afternoon, so we sat outside.
Ilfracombe
Damien Hirst's sculpture 'Verity' in Ilfracombe Harbour. Love it or hate it, it's certainly a talking point!
Photo call outside the hotel - for the hardy few!
View from the hotel.
Thanks to Dawn and Alan for finding such a great place to stay!
